Getting to know the DUPR(Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating)system and what that means for you

The scale that DUPR created covers the complete beginner to touring pro which is 2.0 - 8.0. This particular scale covers 2.0 - 5.0. A newb that has never touched a racquet would most likely fall in the 2.0-2.5 category. Players should also consider prior experience in other sports similar like tennis, badminton, table-tennis, etc which could affect their rating. Please consult the checklist below and hopefully you should have a better understanding of what rating you should be and thus knowing what classes, leagues, and/or tournaments to register for.

If you answer yes to at least 5 in a category then you are at least that level
